FOR 3 DAYS ONLY, ADOPTION FEES WILL BE WAIVED FOR ALL AVAILABLE ANIMALS – as shelters across Florida work together to find loving homes for 2,000 animals statewide.
Last year, our community helped 122 pets find homes in just 3 days. This year, we're aiming even higher – and we'd love for you to be part of it.

The Clearwater Beach Dogs are the alternate identity of the Clearwater Threshers. On the last Friday home game of the month, Threshers players and staff take the field in Beach Dogs uniforms, and fans can join in by rocking their favorite Beach Dogs gear. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. games.
Beach Dogs Fridays are dog-friendly! On select Beach Dog dates, fans may bring their dog into BayCare Ballpark to enjoy the game. Dogs are welcome on the concourse, berm, and in the seating bowl, but not permitted in sections 114, 115, or the Club Level.
Dog tickets are $7 and are available on walk-up. All dog tickets benefit a different local pet charity that will be on-site.

The Philadelphia Phillies' Clearwater Class-A minor league affiliate was known as the Clearwater Phillies while playing at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium from 1985 to 2003. The Threshers debuted at Bright House Networks Field (now BayCare Ballpark) in 2004. The Beach Dogs premiered in 2018, previously being the 2004 runner-up to the club's new Threshers moniker.

The Dunedin Dog'n Suds Summer 5K
Mark your calendars for The Dunedin Dog n' Suds Summer 5K! This dog friendly event will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on August 22, 2026 at HOB Brewing Company in Dunedin, FL. Sponsored by RUN727 and Xanadu Race Management. Admission is $50.
All runners and walkers will celebrate their 5K with free craft beer, an awesome finisher's medal, a RUN727 promotional t-shirt, top finisher awards, timed 3.1 mile (5K) distance run or walk, post race party, and a fully paved and electronically timed 5K at the best venue for running and drinking with great people. This is a family friendly event. We do ask that if you are running with your dog or a stroller, please start toward the back of the pack at the start line so passing is safe for our fur babies and tiny humans.

Don’t miss Dog Day at Tropicana Field on Sunday, September 13, when the Rays take on the Houston Astros. Fans can purchase a special Dog Day package that includes a Dog Day-themed gift and a seat in the MaintenX SkyDeck. Items will be available for pick up in the SkyDeck through the end of the 5th inning.
The MaintenX SkyDeck will not include all-inclusive food and beverage during Dog Days. Food and beverage will be available to purchase.
NOTE: Each ticket is for one human and their pup. Fans with two or more dogs must have an additional adult "owner" accompanying the additional canine.

Bark In The Park 2026
Bark in the Park is back and better than ever! Tampa’s favorite festival is on February 7th, 2026 at Curtis Hixon Park and includes a one-mile Walk for the Animals along Tampa’s beautiful downtown Riverwalk, followed by a family- and pet-friendly festival with entertainment, food & drinks, dozens of amazing vendors, a Kid Zone, fun activities for pets and their people, and a showcase of adoptable dogs!
Bark in the Park benefits thousands of homeless animals each year by raising much-needed funds that provide medical care, food, housing, and enrichment for the animals at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

It's time to slayyyyy! Join us, Amy DeMilo, and Community Pet Project on Thursday, 11/20, 7-9pm for Drag Queen Bingo Night! This month is the 3rd Thursday since we will be closed for Thanksgiving on the 4th Thursday.

The Power of Thanksgiving Giveaway Day - University area
The Ryan Nece Foundation is hosting a “Giveaway Station” to provide food to families in need. HSTB will be onsite to provide families with pets free bags of pet food!
Tees Fore Tails

PetCo Adoption Day
HSTB will be joining our friends at PetCo for an in-store adoption day. We will be collecting items for our Pet Pantry, a service where we provide free food and pet supplies to local pet owners in need of support.
